I recently ordered an Apple TV. It will arrive in October Sad

but until than I would like to know a bit more about this new iOS device.

Who of you already got one? How well does it play with the iPad? And... does 4.2 give you any improvements? Mybe someone of you tested Airplay yet?

Also sicne it's iOS driven, will there be a option to install apps at it?

Last but not least.. do you think it is/will be better than GoogleTV?

i honestly think the AppleTV is now a joke.... Apple is focusing on converting the world into a stream only for entertainment now... no harddrive, limited memory, chopped down ios, HDMI only, idk seems like they could have done ALOT BETTER this time around Sad

Yes I think so, if not would be pretty poor since AppleTv requires HDMI and it is payed.

Mine will arrive in a few days. I heard it's sold out now in most places, not a bad start.
