Does anyone have any idea on jailbreaking the iPad yet? Will it work or not? The iPod touch took a long time until it was jailbroken. Do you expect the same on iPad or will the devs be with us here?

Cant say until coders get hands on this beauty but i don't think any one still will have need to jail broke it as its coming with wifi and really not a phone device.

Jailbreak enables you to use other app sources such as Cydia etc. which hold software what can allow you multitasking etc. or tweaks, which Apple does not allow in Appstore + using the device with SSH and more.

Hell, jailbreaking allows the use of HTML signatures on the iPhone and iPad.

The Settings application strips HTML formatting from signatures when formatted data is pasted into it's form.

Those kinds of things alone are enough of a reason to justify a jailbreak.

The other value-adds are always nice.

when they hack the ipad are they able to add flash to it? because honestly the ipad can handle so why not have it? do you guys believe adding flash would break any copyright acts?

There is no flash for iPhone nor iPad, and I doubt Adobe will donate their source to make one.
