I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone so far tried to develop with Monotouch for iPad? Can someone maybe give me some advises on the development process and if everyhting is accepted in the appstore?
Since this rule change towards 4.0, I am a bit worried to pay for MT now, since I am unsure if a project I will start now, will ever get approved to the appstore.
I want to use MT since I am a .NET developer already and I really think Obj-C sucks balls in hell (sorry for the wording, but I really feel like that).
I don't know about the current state of approvals, but I got an app myself in store which was written in Monotouch. All people in MT forums say there hasn't been any problem yet, but wellI cannot guarantee you, that nnothing will happen in the future. Not even Novell was clear on the future of MT yet.
If you want to get into development, I can recommend you the Monotouch book, written by some of the best community devs. It was released on Worx, you should be able to find it kinda quick. It covers all you need to create descent apps.
I am a developer working with Monotouch and I am happy with it. No problems with apple and really worth the few bucks the SDK costs. If you are a happy .NET developer, get this book published at Worx, it's the one and only bible.
