just beeing curious, is there such a thing in the ipad like a baseband in iphone? if there is, can a ipad's baseband, somehow, technical beeing cloned to an iphone to unlock it permanently?

first of all BB in iphone 4 and ipad are different, they have different hardware and firmware. And second issue -ipad can't receive and make calls and sms Do you really wan't to buy iphone and use it's as ipod touch with 3g communication module for voip& internet browsing?))
