Just a short note to all the developers here. The second beta of the SDK for iPhone OS 4 breaks iTunes 9.1 filesharing option (for apps like iWork, Good Reader and others) with the iPad.
Even de-installing iTunes and the SDK does not help. So if you rely on iTunes filesharing on your iPad wait until the next beta shows up and hope the bug to be fixed then.
Does it work with 10.1? I have problems with all kinds of stuff with iTunes 9.1 anyhow.
Sharing your media with 9.1 to 10.x fails hardcore. Remote does not work with ACC which got DRM protection if they are tried to be played on 9.1. via Remote etc., sadly 9.1 is the last version we got, which is suiteable for old Tiger boxes. I still have a home server running using it
many people sill run it on servers along with suvh old woods like osx Tiger server. Why throw away your good old PPC Xserve? They are great for i.e. hosting or quicktime streaming.
